| Brighton needs yor help!!! Brighton has been an amazing little girl in so many ways, but we are having a real difficult time getting her to eat. She is extremely alert, energetic, sleeps through the night, has shown no signs of hypoglycemia. We have tried 7 different kibbles with her in this order Wellness, Taste of the wild, Natural Balance, Natures Variety, Solid Gold, Blue Buffalo, and Hills. The only one she remotely likes is the Hills and that's our least favorite choice for her. She just grazes on her food, she will eat a bite here and there but will never just EAT! To be safe we are giving her Nutrical at night. We have tried wetting her food, we have added wet food to her kibble, we have tried baby food poured over her kibble, she just licks the gravy off the kibble. What should we do? Should we go to strictly canned food? I appreciate any help you can give |

| Canned is more nutritious than kibble. You can try wetting the kibble with hot water to soften it (boiled, not hot tap water), adding canned or Baby food chicken to that to entice her to eat.

| Try sprinkling Parmesan cheese on her food. Sissy wasn't a good eater and it worked for her. She is now 6and eats as fast as bubba.

| Try Royal Canin that was the only kibble that Keno would eat. He will be three in October and that is still the only kibble that he will eat. |

Why is boiled better? Do you mean like microwave water in a cup or boil in a pot? I use hot tap water, but is that bad?

| I don't buy in to the whole they won't eat thing for a few reasons, but hardly will a HEALTHY pup starve to death, they will eat whatever you feed them IMHO. In your case right now I would first ask what was she eating when she was with the breeder? How old is she? Does she have any health problems? Has she had a Well Visit with the vet yet?

| Cesar Gourmet (wet) food mixed with dry kibble @ feeding time -or- only the wet kibble @ feeding time and leave a bowl of dry kibble for her to munch on throughout the day. She'll eat it when she wants but at least you know she ate something. Cave in to what she wants otherwise you'll go bald pulling out your hair!!! They are soooo stubborn! :-)) They don't care if you go bald, they will love you anyway! :-)) |

| my pups are just as fussy and just as picky. They wont eat Royal Canin yorkie. So now they get boiled chicken on top of the royal canin, that way they are fooled into eating some of the kibble some of the time LOL. YES I KNOW! MY BABIES ARE VERY SPOILT! |

| Royal Canin made my one itch something terrible. So I switched them both to Halo Spot's Stew (Halo, Purely for Pets – Natural Dog Food, Natural Cat Food, Treats, Supplements, Grooming Supplies | halopets.com) - I mix two different kinds and they eat it up. Good luck.

| We have 5 spoiled babies. We give them boiled chicken with dog food. So far we've gone through every brand of dog food in the store. They eat the chicken and when they get to the dog food they walk away. They only like the cheap brand of cry food such as Purina Dog Chow or Chef Michael. Everything else we've given them ends up in dry food heaven. I just began dehydrating chicken and beef to make jerky for them. Yes our dogs are totally spoiled also, |
