| YorkieTalk Newbie! |  New Yorkie Owner Hi, I have never owned a small dog. I now have a beautiful yorkie who is now 5 months old. Will it be bad when she goes into heat? I have heard some horrible stories. And after reading posts on here, I am new to this, I have decided to have her spayed.  |

| welcome to yt and so glad ur gonna have ur new baby spayed. i think heats are different to each female but i could be wrong. i know they make lil diapers you can have her wear during that time. best wishes with your new bundle of love!!

| Welcome to YT I've never had any big problems with Nena while she's in heat. I'm glad you decided to spay your little girl  What is her name? And don't forget to post pictures
