| Help!!! I don't know what to do here... It's been raining and storming like crazy the past week and both of my puppies refuse to go out on the balcony to go potty. Lily has never had a problem with the weather and always goes outside but for some reason she will not this time! Even worse...she gets on the couch and pee's!! Even when she was 2months old she didn't do this, what's going on? She's 1yr and 6m old. Taka, as posted before, hates the rain and won't go outside so I tried the potty pads inside and he used it this morning perfect for the first time and hasn't used it since. He got soo many treats for it this morning, I guess that didn't work. He is 8 months old. Does the spray stuff work to make them go where they should? HELP MEEEEEEE!!!! |

| I have absolutely no help to offer here other than my previous suggestion of putting the potty patch or pads on the one dry spot on the patio. Cover the sofa in potty pads? Put up a tarp to cover the patio? Buy one of those tent cover things? Buy a one person tent to put right outside the door with the potty patch or pad inside? Hopefully this bump will bring in more helpful responses.

| Wall-Mart has small children's tents that work really well with these small dogs. Just put the potty pad inside. I do this when we take the coach on vacation. I put their tent outside on the patio with potty pad inside so I don't have to put the pad down inside except during the night.

It's large enough for a pad plus room for them to get out of the sun if they want. Folds down really small.

Senior Yorkie Talker | We have some awful weather in the UK, even when the season says summer lol. I was and still am persistent with mine and have found its worked, even in rain and snow I will stand in the garden with mine, using the toilet, pee, hurry up words that I used when they were puppies to encourage them to go, they work out in the end that the quicker they go the quicker they go back indoors, it was hard work at first but it work for us and we have no accidents in the house.
