Just curious? My breeder was saying that our dog is turning out to be potentially show quality. Now my son is very keen on showing the dog. Can you really tell if its show quality potential this young?

How old is your dog? Usually not till 6 months of age, and that is not a sure thing.

I would say just work with the little pup and cross your fingers. There are a lot of shows and events that are more for fun --- and these are the type that your son would probably most enjoy anyway.

My pup will definitely not be show quality - but even if there were a chance, he is changing so much every day, that I have still have no idea what he's going to end up being like. (He about 4 months old.)
