| If she is pregnant and you don't know the breed of the sire I would definately go ahead with the spay. It could be a much larger dog which would put her in danger. Welcome to YT.

| Go ahead with the spay. Its not ideal, but things have to be done to protect our dogs, and spaying would be the safest.

| First of all, OMG I love your puppy's name! Fiona Apple is like my 90s icon! To answer your question, if she is in fact preggos, if its early in the PG not a big deal to spay her. Otherwise, if she's not PG, 8-10 months is the ideal time to get a dog spayed. No worries. Just ask your vet what they think is best. Keep us posted.

| She is way to young to be a mommy and because you would not know what she matted with it could be a much larger dog and that could kill her. So I would explain the situation to your vet and dog the spay.

| I sooo agree with the advice you have been given. Keep the appointment and have her spay. I had my Remy spayed because I just don't have the ability or knowledge to deal with a pg. I know with the small babies there can be so many complications. If your baby matted with a larger dog the pg could kill her, or be very expensive for the vet care. It is best just to do spay now. Good luck and keep us posted
