| Can a 12 week old Yorkie? Jump over something 7 inches tall? I know that's very short. I also remember my puppy being terrible at jumping at that age, so I was just curious if that's too tall to jump over? |

| I think it all depends on the pup really. Some are great jumpers early and some not so much.

| Roxy jumped on to the sofa by 16 weeks of age- Much higher than 7 inches. It depends on how determined your pup is.

| This reminds me of Callie when she was a pup she would run and jump as high on the couch as she could then dig her nails in and climb the rest of the way up it was so cute!

YT 500 Club Member | When I first had zooey at ten weeks, she climbed over a playpen (kids) kind. Then we put up baby gates, she climbed over those too. I didn't want her to get hurt, so she's had free roam of the house. Accidental potty issues at the time, but now a year old, accidents once in a while. She's always been a climber and jumper. Hard to stop her. Now she has a fast walk with a skip in it. Maybe lp, but vet said just to watch her for now. Good luck!

| Huey would try to jump on the bed and would bounce off the side several times before he would finally make it high enough to climb over the edge. We bought stairs and although now he can jump that high, he still uses the stairs for the bed although he jumps higher to get on the recliner Iin the den.

| We have our 7 month old confined in living room one side is a baby gate the other is totes. He is a jumper loves jumping on the furniture. Maybe we are just lucky he has not thought of jumping on the totes to escape or the baby gate. Crazy seeing the couch is at least 2 times higher then our couch. lol |

| Max was a couple ounces over 3 pounds when I brought him home. We had the 2 ft high xpen. I had to buy the 4 ft xpen the next day.
