Busta has what looks like spot that won't go and he's managed to scratch it which has made it look angry and sore. The vet seems to think its a wart but didn't seem overly concerned by it.
A friend has recommended a spray which is used on horses. Its called purple spray by gold label. He uses it on his grey hound who had a similar condition and it cleared up. I was wondering as you are all Yorkie experts if this was ok to use or if you had any other remedies that will clear this up. On a much lighter note busta who at the young age of nearly twelve joined in with karaoke last night as he could here himself on the tv. It was quiet funny. Dogs do have talent. Any advise would be great on the wart thing

I would not recommend using a medication on an area that you do not have a proper diagnosis for. Did your vet do a scraping of the area and look at it under a microscope? Was the area irritated when the vet saw it? If it was and he did not recommend a treatment I would find another vet. If the area was not irritated when the vet saw it maybe you could call the office back and let the doctor know what has happened since he was last seen. It does sound like he should be seen again through.

Got an appointment to see the vet today to get it checked out although he has slept well I haven't.

Very good idea to have the vet look at the sore again. Ditch the purple spray. I agree with Gracielove, stick to treatments specifically recommended by your vet.

Let us know how it goes today.

£40 later busta is not a happy boy as on antibotics. The vet believed its a wart and its become aggravated as busta is likely to be over heating. He is in need if a hair cut. So we will see how the antibiotics goes. He is sporting a bit of a bald patch where his cost was cut good old country air will also help. If he keeps at it he will be wearing a collar to stop him from biting it. We are feeling very sorry for ourselves and not even a chicken donut is working.
