I'm wondering the same thing. Do they stop getting taller, longer and gaining weight at a year? 10 months?

Usually they do most of the growing by 6 months, and some dogs stop there. My Mojo was only 5 lbs at 6 months but today (he is 1 1/2 year old) he weights about 7 1/2lbs. He grew a lot...but i think he is an exception!

HEY, I'M LEXI'S MOMMY =( JK you can be too--any how--I would say one year. Females do gain a little after their first heat. After that they are pretty much set.

| So far my Little Cinnamon gained zero weight between 6 M and 7 /12 months.....so, I think she pretty much topped out at 6 months.

I was always told 6 months is about a reasonable guess. Gracie is 6 months and she hasnt grown at all since then. My neighbor has a male and he didnt stop growing til he was 1 year old...I think it just depends on your Yorkie! But, most will tell you around 6 months!

The females do not stop until after their first heat at least. Males I owuld say 7-8 months also. Puberty puts weight on the yorkie. Just as it does humans. The female glads and organs mature as do the males and they will gain weight. So don't bet on a weight before that.
