| ![]() Hi All, I am nervous and scared. We are planning a summer vacation and Rudy my 2 yr old 4 pound baby will have to be put in a boarding facility. Does anyone have any suggestions recommendations for places? I am in Northern NJ by Rutherford area? I am looking into Pethotel at Petsmart by me. Thanks Denise |

| ![]() Hello! I personally don’t know any places in that area.. Have you tried to Google some places and read reviews. That is what I always do! I would also look into a couple and go visit them, meet the people, see where Rudy would be staying!!

| ![]() I've boarded Coco at a Petsmart hotel before and it was fine. I like the fact that someone is onsite all night. I also upgraded her to a suite room so that she'd have more room. Not sure if it was more for her comfort or my conscious. I also paid for all-play everyday. I've looked at other options and still am more comfortable with Petsmart for now.

| ![]() hi thanks for ur replies I am going to bring Rudy there one day to play. He is never really around other dogs I am afraid how he will be. I will try it out and maybe let them do some play time each day. I have to check out the rooms too I was just going to do the standard room for him he doesnt need much space. I have to see them myself thanks so much this helps |

| ![]() p.s. Forgot to mention that Coco is very timid and is easily overrun by even smaller, more confident dogs (she's 6 lbs) so it was best that she get the Petsmart lay of the land before leaving her overnight. My preference would be to board her in a small dog environment, but I haven't found that yet.

| ![]() Oh, and I cried in the store when I left her - "first day of school" tears I guess.
