I noticed we have a lot of new yorkie babies and new yorkie talk members. I thought it might be fun to start a thread to say hi to everyone just getting a yorkie or just joining yorkie talk or both! Share your new yorkies birthday (or "gotcha day" if adopted) and a picture and maybe a little bit about yourself.

Hi I'm new to the YT and having a puppy. I've only ever dealt with cats and I have severe allergies with dogs so I was happy that not only is my yorkie hypoallergenic but even when I was with him I did not sneeze once. My husband and I adopted our 9 week old Titus on Feb 15 and we are smitten with him lol I'm really excited that I joined this forum so I can get some advice and information on Yorkies. My husband and I are both in the Navy so we work odd hours sometimes but I'm hoping Titus will get used to us bustling about.

OK I'll be the sorta newbie to come in and break the ice.

I am mommy to Bentley who was born on 11/27/12. I became his fur-ever mommy on 2/9/13. I have wanted a dog for myself and my 2 daughters for a very long time. After lots of searching and looking into breeds I finally decided on a Yorkie.

I really have lucked out on this little boy. Sweet and smart. Love his puppy kisses. I've come to the conclusion Yorkies are like potato chips you can't have just one. I'm already dreaming of a little sister for him. lol Maybe in a year. And I want a full sister for him. He's so good, would love another fur-baby from the same parents.

The lop ear picture is his first day home. I have also included a couple pictures of what he does best. SLEEP

I'm mommy to Dooney,

Born on 11/28/12, he only weighs 1.6 pounds at 12weeks...love him so much.

Muggles was born on 10/18/2012. He was 7.1 pounds at his 16 week checkup this week. He came to live with us at 9 weeks and somehow, with all of the info and help available here on YT, he made it ok! We are well into the terrible twos but we love him so much. He has a fur brother named Scooter who is a 10 yr old Mini Schnauzer - who taught him how to stop biting us - and 2 skin kid teenage brothers and the DH. We have all decided that he has the most personality and is the cutest thing we've ever seen.

I have a few pictures of Muggles in his album if you want to look. I've not figured out how to downsize my photos from my iPad to post them in my forum posts.

2.5 pounds at 12 weeks. I just got him a few days ago and he is doing great!

omg! look at all the cute yorkie babies! I wish I could smell thier puppy breath! Thanks for sharing you guys, its nice to see everyone and get to know the new people. Keep the pics coming, don't be shy newbies- share your puppy with us!
