| Bisquit's Phobia We have a little Shih Tzu who is 11/2 years old. For some reason he will not jump off or on anything. Our sofa is very low and he still wont jump up down. When we walk away he just sits there crying and barking. We are going to buy some doggie steps but I just wanted to know if anybody has any ideas about this. Our Yorkie has no problem or for that matter do any of our dogs have this problem. Just wondering. The vet says it is not physical btw. |

| I'm no vet or pet therapist but I'd say he had a bad experience previously and doesn't trust himself to jump and land safely. Keira has no fear, which luckily for her hasn't led to any injuries but scared the daylights out of me a couple of times. Have you tried treats and stuff to get him to jump down? I know Keira would go for a treat. |

| Awww, bless his heart. I considered getting steps for Yazmin to be able to climb into my bed but was'nt able to find any steps long enough. After a lot of research, I had a ramp custom made from a Seller on eBay. He sells them in standard sizes also. Here's an example of of one that's available from Petsmart, I hope this may help your baby. Mr. Herzher's Smart Ramp Jr - Ramps & Steps - Dog - PetSmart |

| One of mine wouldn't jump up on the sofa either so I just bought a little molded plastic stool and put a rubber backed small throw on it and now she uses it to get up and down.
