| Monty meets Canada Hey everyone, it has been a wee bit crazy the last month or so for Monty (and me). We moved from Scotland Jan 10 to Southern Ontario in Canada (where 'we' called home but of course not Monty who is Scottish). After a long flight and many hours in his crate we finally got to pick him up and I must say he did an amazing job!! 8+ hours in his crate and not a mess to be found...I was so proud!! He has been great since we arrived here, no messes in the house at all and he is loving his big back yard and all his new Canadian friends. I am still having to defend the fact that although big, yes he really is a yorkie (sheesh, some people)!! I have been travelling a lot for my work and haven't had as much time as I would like to spend on training him and hanging with him, but my husband and daughter are doing a great job taking care of him in my absence and I get to spend my time smothering him with love in between trips! |

| So happy to see you all made it safe and sound. Monty might be Scottish, but he must know that Canada is really home

| Monty is over 15 lbs (not by much) and I think he is the perfect size, I just wish people would stop judging him because of his size. He is neutered and I never had any plans to breed him, he is my PET and his personality is ALL yorkie My neighbors have a very small yorkie and when they found out we had a new yorkie as well expressed excitement in seeing him when we got home, I think they caught a glimpse of his size and we haven't seen them yet lol I am so very happy that this site accepts yorkies of all sizes and takes them all in as one big yorkie family Love you guys!! PS We did make sure that Monty left his kilt in Scotland |
