| flaky skin My Chloe is 4 months old tomorrow. She has flaky skin, like dandruff when I brush her. What would be good to use on her? She doesn't seem to be itchy any. Thanks |

| Perhaps the shampoo you use? I use Super Fresh Dog Shampoo | True Blue Pet Products and many here love Yorkie Splash and Yorkie Shine | Yorkie Shampoo and Yorkie Conditioner I also give Buster Salmon oil.

YT 1000 Club Member | Is that like a "bottle" of Oil ? And if so, how do you administer it ? Then, would not one of those soft pills be just as effective ?

| I use Products that I get from a local store. It comes in a pump bottle that I keep refrigerated. I give him a pump with his food or add it a little cocktail that I make for him with probiotics and vitamins. http://www.icelandpure.com/images/pr...lustrator_.gif

| Sometimes if there is residue left from the shampoo or conditioner it will cause flaking on the skin. Some products take a lot of rinsing to get all of it out of the skin and coat. |

| I had that same problem with our foster, Buster B., when I first brought him home. I think it was from flea medicine put on him at the shelter, but not sure. Now he is fine and does well with Mink Sheen shampoo and Pantene conditioner.

| Thanks everyone. I think I will change her shampoo and make sure she is rinsed well. I appreciate the help. |
