| Newbie to yorkietalk and really want one or two HELP Hello everyone, This is my first time here. I'm in search of a male and female to live in the house with me and possibly become a small (very small) breeder. I absolutely LOVE them...and want to have them forever. I have a big house and plenty of time and love.. I'm in Kansas and kind of poor....a teacher's salary. I saw online where a man in Alabama was just giving 7 Yorkies away b/c of relocation to Africa. Have any of you heard or read this? Also, I'd welcome any advise. Thank you...awaiting responses |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Welcome to YT!! Stay away from that Africa thing, its more than likely a scam. I know nothing about breeding, just wanted to wish you tons of luck and welcome you! There are some great breeders on here who I'm sure could give you great advice!

| Good luck and welcome to YT. BTW, I live in Alabama and kind of keep up with several breeders in the area...this Africa thing is a new one on me, for what it's worth. Yeah...sounds kind of scammish! (Is 'scammish' a word?) |

I also would be VERY LEERY of that kind of 'giveaway" there are usually costs in these kinds of scams...They'll ask you for Shipping charges....there is NO DOG and they just keep your money. Its a big internet scam and too many people fall for the word "Free" dog. There really are NO free yorkies unless it's a VERY Special Circumstance... you can usually get a feel if it's legit or not. If your gut says it's too good to be true - you can bet it usually is. Please try to use a reputable breeder - there are many yorkies out there for varying prices WELCOME to Yorkietalk | |

| Hmmm...I am not as smart as some on the board...I don't know how to post direct likes to the threads like some. If you want to get to the 'Yorkies For Sale/Wanted' section, try clicking on "Forums" at the top of the page, and then scroll down to find the section. If you want to start a new thread...well, seems you already know how to do that...you started this one |

| There is a very, very reputable breeder just a few miles from where you live. This is their site: http://www.shadowcreekkennels.com/
