| Dog Car Seats Front or Back? I have a Snoozer car seat for Buster. I used to have it in the front seat and pulled the seat belt around it for additional support because the one attachment belt was so low I was afraid of the doggie seat moving forward if I had to stop suddenly. I then started thinking about my car's air bags. If they are not safe for a child they are definitely not safe for a Yorkie. I have moved the seat to my back seat. Buster is not a thrilled with the new arrangement as he is not next to Mom and he has less of a view due to my car window layout. Where do you put your car seat?

| Back seat always, same reason airbags. Although Elvis has ridden on my lap when Derik was driving to our vet in an emergency the skin kids took up the back seat...don't tell I just pulled the seat belt over my shoulder and had Elvis bucked in by his harness...our vet is like 3 minutes away, 7 blocks 2 stop signs.

| A lot of cars you can turn the air bag off in passenger seat! But I just keep him in the back because I tend to have people in my passenger seat somewhat often, so it'd be a pain to move back and forth.

| I know that I should always put it in the back, but if I only have one pup traveling a short distance, I am guilty of putting the seat in the front.

| We keep ours in the back. It's a large snoozer and probably wouldn't fit in the front anyway lol.

| Mine is in front, bucket style that hangs from passenger seat back, and the air bag is off. He can look out the front and side and loves it. |

| ZoE's carseat is always in my backseat. I can't turn the passenger airbags off in my older Mustang. When I drive across state to see my kids at college, I usually swap vehicles with my mum or dad (so I've got room to haul stuff they want brought to them). Both of their vehicles are newer & have weight sensors in the passenger seat. I can put ZoE's seat there with her in it & the airbag is always turned off. ZoE gets so confused though. She is used to jumping in my car, walking along the console and hopping in her seat in the back, and then sitting there waiting to be buckled in.

| I have the medium snoozer and it is in the middle but it could probably use rolled up hand towels on each side underneath.

| Both... Usually back, but Bevo is a whiner and like to be close to me so if its just him, I put his seat in front. I always turn the passenger airbags off!
