| Bed: soft or firm? I'm sry I'm asking so many questions but I'm really trying to get as much knowledge as I can before my little baby gets here next month so my next question: do your Yorkies prefer a soft bed or a firm one? I found so many very nice ones of both but I don't know which to get. |

| In the summer my two yorkies like a firm round bed where they hang out and keep an eye on everything. In the cooler weather they snuggle down into every fleece bed or blanket available. (our winter is short here so they are not used to the cold and our tile floors get very chilly!) |

| For a puppy I would go with the soft one. They can snuggle down in it and have a nice warm blanket in it, too. |

| I have bought many beds for my girls. The only bed that gets used is the Cloud9 bed. They LOVE the cloud 9 so much we now have 3 of them! Rosie is in hers right now! They seem expensive compared to the $10 beds you see but I promise there is a huge difference! Here is the link Cloud Nine Beds*::*Bedding*::*Yorkie Haven Rescue Boutique. And I'm including a picture of one of ours. Plus the money supports the YHR pups!

| Ok thank u all...I think I'll go with a soft one. Our winters are fierce here in Germany and they last til about April or May. It may b a dumb comment but I didn't think dogs got really cold but this forum has taught me that I was mistaken!! |

| Both of mine like a soft and fluffy bed and their favorite that we own, is the Cloud 9 sold by Yorkie Haven Rescue.

| Yorkies get cold very easy as they don't have the undercoat of other dogs. I keep my house very warm, but she still likes to snuggle in her soft plush bed. Since you are new, and have harsh winters, don't forget to invest in some warm coats and sweaters. Your pup will thank you for it. |

Keep asking your questions and don't worry about any of them being dumb. Not asking the questions is what is dumb. Have fun getting prepared for your new little furbutt!
