| Do your yorks hate the smell of mint? Uni hates it. She won't give us any kisses after brushing our teeth or Listerine-ing, putting on Burt's Bees lip balm with mint (but will with Burt's Bees without mint), won't take bites of fresh mint, but will take almost any other herb. I think there is a bit of "vapor" that comes off of mint, either fresh or in a product. Maybe it burns her mucous membranes? Does your yorkie like mint or abhor it? She didn't like mint breath tabs or mint toothpaste either. It's CET chicken flavor all the way.

| I've never tried giving Joel mint but he does try and lick my mouth after I use minty tooth paste, so i'm sure he would like mint |

| Really? All my fosters would NOT give me kisses after I brushed my teeth or put on Burt's Bees! Strange!

| It might give him the high effect like anise but does not help with the gas part, he still is doing one of his favorite tricks tonight. Stand on the sofa arm act like he is going to give you a puppy kiss and when you lean in and he turns around and let's one go in your face then runs off... Did I mention lately how sneaky and evil he is??

| My guys like to sniff my mouth when I have used something minty, but then they run and mash their faces in the carpet or their beds. They don't like anything with a strong scent -- except grandpa's aftershave.

| Tibbe is not very fond of mint smells either. Vanilla-smelling things he loves but not minty things.

| I have a mint bush growing and Zoey goes out and chews on the leaves. Whenever I see her doing this I make her stop thinking that the mint might be dangerous. So far, no problem.
