| Haruka's new hair cut and DIY question :) Hi everyone, I have been missing in action, but here I am. I hope everyone is well. Haruka just had a grooming appointment and she came back like this I did ask them to cut very short but leave the top knot and a little bit of hair on the face. Well I love Haruka with any hair cut anyway So everything is good!!! Oh by the way the black dress was knitted by my co-worker. Isn't it gorgeous!? Anyway my question is that I really want to be able to cut her hair short like this by myself. I really want to look into getting good quality grooming clipper that might not vibrate much and does good job. Do you have any recommendation? Michiko

| Thanks, Britster for the link. I am trying to find a good quality clipper that lasts long time and also doesn't vibrate or make as much noise. I don't have a specific budget and want to explore different options as I would like to use it often (if I have enough talent to do it ) In last couple years I decided to keep Haruka with short hair (she used to have long hair) because she hated being combed. Our relationship is so much better since I don't bother her constantly. She seems to love short hair and if possible I want to be able to do it. I was also hoping that someone would make comments on the pics that I posted. I was very excited to show the pics of Haruka after long time. But oh well. I hope everyone is well.

| Haruka is adorable I love her sweater! I think a lot of people aren't online posting because it's the weekend... People get busy with family I remember seeing Haruka with longer hair. I bet it's a lot easier to take care of her short hair! I would recommend getting some inexpensive clippers to practice and get used to grooming her and then decide if you want to invest in some high quality ones.

| Ahhhh...little Haruka is adorable in her new "do!" She looks so tiny and precious. I'm sure it will be so much easier keeping her up with her hair so short. It was nice to see you here and the pictures of your little darling!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Haruka looks cute no matter if she has long hair or short. I know you are both much happier with the short cut. I love her dress. Your coworker is very talented. I like her bow too! I don't have any advice on clippers. I do love my Wahl chrome mini but that's just for ears and small areas. I am glad to see you back on here. We need more pictures of Haruka.

| Whoa!!!!! Thank you everyone for the reply!!! CouversMom: Thank you for your kind words. I do have Wahl's clipper. I got it awhile back and couldn't even use once. So I want to try possibly Oster or Andis clipper. I was hoping that I would get one right at the first time but it didn't happen that way. Verbena: Thanks for the reply. I think finding a good groomer is always difficult. Every time I find groomers that I like they moved to different state or country. So since I decided to have her in short hair I am hoping that it might be a little bit easier to take it care of short hair than long hair. Connie: Connie!!! Thank you for your reply and sweet comments! She just went to routine shots at a vet and weighted 3.6 lb She is 6.5 years old now. Time passes so quickly. I think Haruka sure loves short hair (even she is trying to get use to feeling colder without hair) she runs around happily like a rabbit! LILBIT1: Thank you for your reply. Perrella: Thank you for your reply. My co-worker is part time so I recently made sure to bring Haruka with that dress to work when she was working Grin! I knit too but only thing I can do is scarves! Britster: Thank you for your reply. And nah........ you weren't rude at all. I really appreciated your reply and a link So thanks again! Patti: Thank you for your replies. Grin! Oh ya!! I haven't bought bows for ages because you sent me nice ones!!!! I love this black one because it matches with anything. So thank you

| Haruka looks adorable. I use Oster clippers. I don't know how you would be able to avoid the noise or vibration of the clippers. Mine has 2 speeds and I really only use the lower speed. I can do their bodies and faces but they don't like me doing between their toes. I have the regular clippers as well as a small Wahl that I get their ears and around their eyes with. The small Wahl can be held in the palm or hand and probably something that you would think of to trim sideburns on a person. I try to get between their toes but as soon as they feel it on their pads, they freak. Good luck if you decide to groom yourself. I keptand still keep telling myself, it's only hair and it will grow back. lol

| dlaureanonw: Thank you for your reply. I love this black sweater dress too. I wish I had something like this to have matching outfit Mom to Hot Rod Thank you for your reply. I might try Oster. She just had a hair cut so I can wait for a little bit. So I will keep doing the research. I think the Wahl I have won't work very well for her. It might be too heavy and big.
