| Brothers Complete samples.... got some grain-free Brothers Complete samples packs, I feed grain free now, but was wondering when you give them some sample food, do you just mix some in with their normal food, or do you give them the sample by itself, and if so, will that mess with their system? If you mix a little in with their normal feeding and they eat it all, would I assume that they like it, cause she would probably spit it out if she didn't like it... any thoughts....its the same flavor, grain free salmon on both the sample and her kibble flavor... |

| You usually mix it with their normal food, or you can give them a couple pieces randomly to see if they like it. Everytime I switched Peanut he would just pick all the “new food” and leave the old LOL, So I switch him cold turkey. I know most do not approve of that, but Peanut isn’t bothered by it. I had Peanut on the Brothers Allergy Formula, he started itching like crazy and his ears were really red- I took him off of the food.

| so Brothers Allergy actually gave him one?...weird huh....her stools are always soft, been that way since I've had her (3 months now)shes 6 months old...she was treated for coccidia when she had her first puppy check, then she came back clear, but her stools are soft...she drops 5-8 small soft pieces of poop at a time..(sorry, don't mean to be gross, but that's what she does)...wondering what percentage of protein, fat and fiber should kibble be for a soft stool...? its not diarreah, but its soft serve like....she goes in for her first rabies shot on Monday...I'll have to talk to the vet about it, hopefully the shot doesn't make her worse... |

| Yes, I would mix it in at first. Brothers Complete is pretty good for a kibble food. No white potato is used as a filler to replace the grains. When I was trying to find a kibble that Gracie would eat we tried it. I was very impressed with the ingredient list and the method they use for creating the food. You can go to the Brothers website to read about it. I see they also have a allergy formula now as well. |
