| Hi and welcome to YT. Congratulations on your Yorkie. Yorkie ears are supposed to stand but young or teething Yorkie pups may have ears that droop or do not stand at the same time. Some Yorkie ears never stand. I didn't see your pup's age posted, but if the ears need help to stand, you can tape them. To my knowledge, Yorkie ears are never docked. Good luck! Update...I see her photo in your album. She is adorable!

| This is normal. Just for the record Yorkies ears are never, ever docked.

| The breeder told me that I should pull the hair out of her ears to lesson possibility of an ear infection??

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Your breeder was no doubt talking about the hair down inside her ear, not the outside. Hair on the outside of the ear can be trimmed if you want it short.
