| Pet Gear vs. Snoozer? Pet Gear Dog Booster Car Seat or Snoozer Car Seat? What are your thoughts? Conveniently for me, our own Yorkie Talker Kristin (Maximo) has both of these items on sale. For those of you who haven't ordered from Kristin yet, she does have the most amazing customer service EVER! My pups are 7 and 5lbs and of course would like to ride together. With Snoozer, you are definitely paying for the name, although I know Snoozer makes quality products. The Pet Gear seat seems to be the same basic design and I am inclined to go with that one. What does everybody think? Are there any Pet Gear owners out there?

| I prefer snoozer because the strap that hooks to the harness is attached to the seat belt which makes it less likely to tear or weaken over time. It would be terrible if the other one didn't have the strap stitched in well or it had weakened over using it and when you had an accident or slammed on your brakes it snapped and your yorkie went flying.

This is the main reason that I went with snoozer,it just seemed safer to me. I have had to remove the cover from the entire carseat to wash it (somebody got carsick) and it went right back on,it was so easy. Also when I am taking Mina into a store and she is going to ride in the cart provided by the store,I unhook the tether from the seatbelt and just tether her into the cart, even if she is sitting in my purse. I dont have to worry about anyone walking off with her or her jumping out of the cart. | |

| I have the My Buddy (the largest size) for my two - they are 9 and 11 lbs each - and they have plenty of room. I wanted them to be able to spread out and be comfortable during long car rides. I think with smaller pups the medium size would be okay for two. The only thing is I'm pretty sure it only comes with one seatbelt strap so you'd have to buy an additional one. I have had my Snoozer almost two years now and I absolutely love it. The dogs are comfortable and safe in the car and that makes going places much, much easier!

| I have had my Pet Gear for a few years now and have been happy with it. However, when I take the cover off to wash it... It's really a pain to get back on. The foam also has separated and I had to re-glue it back together and then put the cover back on. I'm assuming that after a couple more years of the extreme heat we get here, it's going to fall apart. I will probably get the Snoozer next. I really like that it has a drawer at the base... I always put their leashes behind the Pet Gear booster and it would be nice to have a designated place for it.

| I have both a medium Pet Gear and a medium Snoozer for ZoE. The Pet Gear seat form is made from polystyrene and the sides are firm. ZoE likes this when riding around town, because she stands in her seat and puts her front paws on the side and looks out the window. I know some don't feel the sewn-in strap is as secure (and I did shorten mine because it was too long), but we don't use it, as we also have a strap that buckles into the actual seat belt, so she is super secure AND she can see out the windows well. The Snoozer seat form is made from foam....like your couch/sofa cushions...so it is definately softer (including the sides). I had the medium PetGear & so bought the medium Snoozer thinking they'd be the same, but the Snoozer is actually ALOT bigger and ZoE can stretch out and lay down in it just like its a bed. I find the Pet Gear seat harder to buckle in, but believe how it buckles in makes it very secure, even though I don't enjoy the hassle of moving it from vehicle to vehicle, so it'll stay put in my Stang. I also like that the Pet Gear coordinates nicely with my car interior and isn't a cutesie looking seat. The Snoozer is very easy to buckle in and it would be no problem moving it between vehicles if you plan in using it in more than one.

♥Love My 3 Furrbutts♥ Donating Member | Good to know...I too was wondering the same thing. Would the large hold three? Or would i go with a medium for two and a small? Sorry to hijack OP. Curious.

| I like Snoozer. I ordered pet gear and didn't think it looked of very good quality, it was somewhat flimsy... and it didn't seem like my 16lb'er would have a comfy fit in there. He lays down and stands up in his medium snoozer perfectly, we love it
