| Grooming Dvds I am new to Yorkie Talk but am loving learning new things from browsing the forums. I am the proud mama to 2 lovely little girls, Daisy Mae and Maggie Moo. I was looking for any grooming dvds to learn how to groom them at home. I have tried to keep their hair groomed since I got them but would love to learn how to do it correctly. Anybody know of any good videos that show you how to groom your yorkie at home. Thanks for any advice. |

| Welcome to YT! I love your girls' names. Looking forward to seeing pictures. Here are some free videos nicely put together by a YT member: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...cerella02.html The only good DVDs that I have ever found are for Yorkie show coat grooming and they are very pricey. The other ones that I have bought, I don't have anything positive to say about them. YouTube is another place to search for some video grooming help.

| Thanks for the input. I don't know why it is so hard to find videos for grooming your yorkie. There are so many people that have yorkies and don't want to take them to groomers but want to groom them at home. I don't mind paying for a good dvd but I hate to buy something and you either can't follow because the shots are so poor or music is playing so loud. |

I learned to groom my boys through trial and error and reading here. My boys are in full coat, so I'm not really challenged in the trimming department. I do ears, feet, and sanitary trim. If you are looking for info on clippers and how to trim, there are some great threads in the grooming section.
