I've seen different examples of crates... Plastic, wire, etc...
What kind do you have/use for your Yorkie, if any?

I use a wire crate. It is probably about 2ft x 3ft.

i use a 2ft x 3ft wire crate, i think it's about 2.5ft deep.

I use a pet taxi. It's about 2x3 like the others use. I prefer the plastic, becasue I feel it's more den like. I also like being able to wipe it clean, it's lightweight and I can put it in the car and run a seatbelt thru the handle and buckle them in. I have two crates, both not used much. But when used the plastic pet taxi takes presidence over the wire'd bigger cage.

Otis has a really cute plastic purple bubbly-looking crate, and I haven't seen any around since I bought mine. Makes me wonder if it's discontinued or defective.

used to have plastic, but i didnt like teh way the door opened up (it swung open and blocked part of the entrance) so i got toby a wire crate instead.... its working out wonderfully

I have a wire 2x3, also. Just curious, does anyone here have the "wicker" one from PetSmart? (It's really resin, but looks like wicker.)

I have both - the wire one is the main one used and the plastic one is for when we go places and might need to put him away in my parent's room, or something like that.

I have plastic with wire. (it's for cats) I had a wire one but it looked to cage like.
