| Molly keeps being sick This morning molly got up her usual bouncy set this morning. Did the toilet both 1 and 2. The dogs get fed at 8 am. About7.30 she started throwing up just ie and foam a couple of times then a bit if chewed plastic. I checked around and founding of my shoe laces with the plastic end piece missing. I thought she would be okay after this had come up. Itsnow 8.30 she hasbeen sick about 10 times just foam. Won't eat or drink. She is lying on my knee now shivering a little. Thevet opens at nine if she is sick again I will take her. Mydh thinks she will be fine and I am just fussing. What do you think?

| I am sorry this has you worried. Mickey eats shoe string ends, twisty paper (like on the bread bags- doesn't eat the wire) and anything else little he can get into. He spits up foam a few times and then is fine again. If she is still doing it later when the vet opens you might take her in to be sure she did not eat anything you did not see/find.

| The shivering is what concerns me, try a bit of Karo syrup on your finger and give it to her, then take her to the vet. She shouldn't be throwing up that much from a shoe lace tip. Please keep us updated.

Senior Yorkie Talker | Sorry to hear you little one is sick. Our Bentley did the throwing up thing when he was about 7 wks old and the Vet gave him some fluids and a med call Metronidazole Susp 100mgs by Syringe for 5 days and it worked great. Our problem now is Prissy gets the hecups really bad at times and we think there what they call reversed hecups. Does anyone know what to do for them. She's 3 lbs. |

| Update Molly is fine. She stopped being sick about 9.00. Went for a sleep and woke up brighter. I gave her a little to eat and she managed a couple bits of kibble. Took her to the vet she is fine. No dehydration no unusual abdominal rigidity. So dh was right I was worried for nothing. Sorry didn't post earlier forgot to say is dh birthday today and had a family gathering. Lol

| Update 2 Molly has just demolished her dinner and half her sisters. They are now chasing each other around the deck bouncing off the furniture. Back to normal then. I don't know about you guys but I worry about every wee thing with these girls I think it's cause they seem so small and fragile. They were weighed at the vet today. Both are around 4 lbs at 5 months.

| It's ok to worry about them. Or maybe a better word is concern. :-) I've done the same thing along with others here. I've taken poop in and paid 12.00 to have it checked because it didn't look right. LOL What we do to make sure they are good. So glad she is romping around now. |

| Thanks everyone for your concern. I'm sure you all know what it's like to watch your wee one suffer and feel helpless. I try to make sure there is nothing they can get that will harm them but they seem to find things I didn't even consider. My dh thinks I ever dramatise stuff but I'm scared I miss something important. You'd never believe I raised 5 skin kids and have 3 adult dogs besides these two. Mind you I was the same with Brodie as a pup. Robyn came to us as an adult and Mitzi I worry more about now cause of the diabetes. Suppose I'm just one if life's worriers. I also worry about my skin kids of course but at least they can talk lol. Thanks again.

| So glad she's okay! (Happy Birthday to your DH!) It's always good to have even minor issues checked out by a vet... these little ones can go down so fast... especially puppies...
