YorkieTalk Newbie! | swollen glad in neck I'm new to the Yorkie world. I got a precious little teacup baby When she was 6weeks old. She's now 8 weeks and a few days ago I noticed a smallish lump in her neck. It feels like a round little ball just beneath the skin. I'm scared that it might be ear infection or is it just her invacinations that left the bump? Please help! Last edited by Jomarle; 05-20-2012 at 11:50 AM. |

| I'd have the vet take a look, especially with her being a teacup and so young...

| Dogs as well as people have lymph nodes throughout theirbodies. Lymph nodes are like filters and apart of the immune system. They canbecome inflamed and enlarged for various reasons such as infections etc…. Is itjust the one that is enlarged? Did youjust notice it? Don’t touch it too much you don’t want to rub them. Gizmo’slymph nodes were enlarged as a result of some tarter that was building up onhis teeth last year. Hope she feels better soon!!! |

| Welcome to YorkieTalk. I would have her checked out by a vet and just for future reference there is no such think as a teacup it is a word that bad breeders use to make people pay more for there pups. Yorkies should also be with there moms until 12 weeks old.

YorkieTalk Newbie! | Thank you for all the replies. I had her checked out this morning and she's a healthy, happy puppy. No she has not been microchipped yet. Please go take a look at her album with her brother. Tell me what you think. She's not registered and I'm pretty sure she is a yorkie, but I would love your opinions. |
