| vet did scan 2 weeks ago friday and she's due for another 1 tomorrow, she is snapping at my other dog and isn't being very friendly to my remaining kitten who's playmate she attacked last night so badly that it had to be put down, she has milk in her glands but isn't showing many other signs apart from a rised spine, the reason i'm so worried is cos she has never been like this before and didn't even show any signs with her last pregnancy till 5 days before she whelped

| Annabelle seemed to be more aggitated thid pregnancy as well. She definitly showed who ran the house. Sorry about your kitty. Have you taken her temp? When is her due date? I would try isolatong a little, there just may be to much going on around her. If she is getting close to whelp than she may ust be worried that things aren't safe for her to do so. Let us know what the vet says.

| Sounds pretty bad - if she hurt a little kitten that bad - not exactly a motherly trait! I can imagine a pregnant cat killing one of our little Yorkies - don't think we'd put up with that!!!! Perhaps your little dog would be better off not being pregnant. Hope you get some answers.... Carol Jean |

| took her to vets this morning and was told by vet ( not vet that she was meant to see)that i saw that she wouldn't scan her as in her opinion she couldn't be pregnant, and was advised to get her spayed, she couldn't even explain why she attacked kitten and told me tht there was nothing wrong with her

| When Zowie was about 4 weeks pregnant, she got so aggressive with Bronx, we had to keep them completely seperated. It was horrible. She would stare at him and he attacked. You could not pull them apart. I used the water bottle. I seperated the house with a cage for the next 3 months. Did I say horrible! She never minded anyone holding or playing with the babies, except for Bronx. They fought viciously. When the puppies were about 4 weeks old she began to settle a little, by 6 weeks we could let them all together again. It was quite an ordeal. Now the puppies are 6 months old and everyone is happy. My little girl is an angel again. I am sorry for you, but these guys pulled out hair and drew blood. They had never done that before - and haven't since. BAD MEMORY! But luckily is just a memory now. Zowie was a very good and loving mother of five.

| When is her whelp date? I would have to say that her body and hormones are struggling with this pregnancy. Is she having a clear discharge yet? It may be a false pregnancy, but that is hard to say. I had the vet tell me with this last litter that they had all died, well we have 2 babies that were born from that pregnancy. Vets can be wrong, so I would insist on an x-ray; if she is over 50 days. She needs her privacy. Yesit is horrible about the kitten, she obviously has territory issues going on. If she does have pups the aggression will most likely continue towards the other animals in the house. How does she behave towards you and your family? Please let us know what you decide.

| she's 2 and half, and it's not her first litter. reason i wanted scan this time is cos her last whelp was a joke as the vets wouldn't scan her when i found out she was pregnant at 5 days post whelp and she ended up having to have a c section as her first puppy got stuck in the canal and i wanted to make sure that it wouldn't happen again, she's had a discharge but it stopped about 2 weeks ago , another thing that i can't understand is why my male is sniffing her back end every so often, does he know something i don't or that the vet hasn't bothered to check?

| I know that the males will sniff them, and that makes them mad at times too. Does she let you feel her stomach. When is her due date, or has it past? You need to remember that the vet works for you and there is no reason they can't do the scan if she is over 50 days. If the vet doesn't seem to be open to breeders needs I would find a new one. Is the vet office with this litter the same one who refused to do the scan on the other litter? How long has she been overly aggressive? Sorry for all of the questions, just trying to get a better feel for the situation. The biggest thing is when is she due though.

| she does let me touch her stomache, not sure when she is due but by my working out she is around 6 weeks and yes the vets that did refused scan on last litter are the same ones that refused this time, she started getting aggressive about a week ago if that helps, sorry that it's abit thin on information but like i said before i didn't even know that she was pregnant the last time so don't really have anything to compare it to this time, just wish i could see something moving then i would know for sure.
