| Im no breeder, but I certainly beleive that a puppys size can fool you I was sent pictures of the litter (of 3) that I got Milo & Bella from the day after they were born, and they were all the same size. After that,I was sent pictures every 3 days until I could start visiting them myself (and choose my puppy) at just over 2 weeks old. They all seemed very similar in size until we skipped a weekend visit.Bella and Milo were still the same but their sibbling was now HUGE!! lol. The day we bought Milo & Bella home (at 6 weeks old) they both weighed 1.7lbs,yet their sibbling weighed 2.7lbs! I have no idea how she grew that much so quickly (it happened in like 2 weeks!),but there was deffinately no switcheroo because there was no other litter and you could clearly see she was the same puppy (one of her back feet was white).Just genetics I suppose

| I'm just going to call this as I see it: A deal between one BYB to another BYB...what can be expected in these situations?

| I was sent pictures as well but in every shot of the whole litter there was always 2 missing. I feel that she sold the original that I paid for upfront and gave me a different one and sent me pictures of the one she decided i should have.. I saw it earlier and didn't call her out on it. I just went with it stupidly trusting her. |

| Well first off the breeder who gave you an 8 week old pup is a bad breeder because the ytca says puppies should not leave mom until 12 weeks old and all good breeders know that. I would be worried if she is letting the pups go at 8 weeks what other corners she is cutting. Did you know you could lose your female dog by breeding her? Do you have the money for emergency's like a c-section? If they mother dies do you have the ability to get up every couple of hours to hand feed the pups? Do you know the lines of these pups to make sure they don't have certain illnesses? Do you have the money to have them health tested for anything they could pass to the pups or to make sure they are healthy? Do you have a mentor to help you when whelping? How do you know your dogs are an excellent example of the breed?

| Anyone who would sell, trade or in any way take 5 week old puppies away from their mother is capable of any sort of underhanded behavior. This greeder is nothing but a fortune hunter that is more concerned about her pocketbook than the animals that are setting her table. Is her name De Ville? |

The breeder put on a great act, with a very detailed website and paperwork. I trusted her. Her female and male dogs live in a nice home, not a kennel. She welcomed us in her home. She put on a good show. I found out after i received the little guy that the other two were sold at 5 weeks when I started asking about them. I felt something was fishy, but I let it pass with trust. | |

| Her reasoning for not posting the pics of the two were because she was going to keep two females (then). Then it turned into the males(today). It was planned the whole time. She said she will take back the one she sold me and when another litter comes I can choose. I just don't know if I can trust her or if I want to go through it all again. I like the little guy I have now, but I want a litter or two from my first love. |
