YorkieTalk Newbie! | pet carriers Hi, I am new to this site/ I have a 6 1/2 month old yorkie who weight 3 1/2 pounds. I would love advice on the best purse style carrier. I am looking at the petote metro II or a sling. Any advice on any of these or other carriers? I am wondering how heavy the petote metro in leather is. I plan to tote my baby everywhere. Thanks |

| I have this one in hot pink: ROXY Pink & Black Carrier - Petote Dog Carriers - GlamourDog.com Mine LOVE it,because itīs very roomy and cosy at the same time. Also, the fluffy inside can be removed and washed All I have to do is open it,lay it on the floor, and they both hop in

| I have the Kwigy Bo Alex bag, but have drooled over the Metro for a couple years now. The KB bags are not real leather, but are great bags for sneaking them into places. I can post pictures later today if you want to see what they look like. I carry my 7 lber and 5 lber in a large bag, but I think you could easily get away with the small.

me too!!! I love my kb.. and several of my yt friends have one. (we are in the kb club lol) there is a member who has a store and sells them, he has been great with me and is prices are good. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-carriers.html If I had it to do over I would have ordered one of my bags in large.. Remy is a little bigger than the charts showed she would be and at 5 lbs I think she would have liked the extra room.

| Roxy will happily get into a regular oversized purse to go places.

| It's been my experience that puppies grow a lot in how high and long they are the first 6 months and then they start to put on more muscle and fat later on. Your dog has still got some growing to go. Make sure you buy a bag with a firm bottom on it. Some of them sag from the weight of the dog if they don't have the right bottom. Gracie prefers to have room to turn around in her bag and does not like to have to squish down to have the top zipped around her. The Zack and Zoey that appears above is nice because it is some what taller than many bags. I know some people prefer the Quigy Bo. Walmart.com: Backbone Pet Jane Pet Carrier: Dogs This is the latest of my collection and is one of my favorites. It has plenty of space and headroom with storage places and room for her favorite blanket. I have seen it for less on other sites so if anyone likes it shop around. |

Together...? Do you really? I have a purse that fits one, but I want a purse that will fit both. I have been hesitant to get one because I cannot see if they will both fit before buying the bag. Mine would both be in the 6-7-ish lb range I think...I do not know their exact weights.
