? for those using Big Squirt/Little Squirt Box

I received Emma's last week and she has started using it pretty regularly. I am using it with the pad underneath the grate - no grass. Weird question- does your pups pee go through the grate?? Emma's seems to fill up the squares and just sit in them and not fall through to the pad. Then when she uses it again her feet are getting wet from her pee in the grate which I don't like. Some of the squares are not cut all the way to the edge but there is still a hole in them!? I just don't like having to wipe the grate down every time she goes......

Sounds like the holes are too small (because it cant be that her pee is too thick lol).
Im saying this,because I had the same issue with a similar product and I had to "knock" on it afterwards to get the pee to go all the way through,or it would just sit suspended in the holes.

I actually complained to the manifacturer and they gave me my money back.

hi , my oscar uses the big squirt with the pad underneath and he goes potty on the grate. yes occasionally the pee stays in the holes but it does evaporate pretty quick.
most of the time i just blot it with a paper towel...

I put the pads on top of the grate..... I never even untaped the latch thingie. Riley has never torn up his pads or anything so I have no problem just laying them on top of the grate.

i am glad riley is using his box.
oscar would not use potty pads not matter what i tried, he preferred carpet.
i finally found the rascal big squirt, i love it and so does oscar.
it took a couple weeks for him to take to the grate cause it does feel different but now he uses it 100%
