My possible yorkie puppy is going to be born on Wednesday!
 

I am sooo excited right now. Tommorow we meet with this lady that we may be buying a yorkie puppy from. Her yorkie is due to give birth on Wednesday! She lives only about 5 miles from me. And it turns out that I went to her home a long time ago back when I was in high school. Her son and I went to high school together and were friends. But, I can't wait until she has the puppies! She said if all goes well the puppy may be ready to go by Valentines Day. Depending on how big it is and as long as they eating and strong enough. But, since she lives so close, I can probably visit my puppy any time I want until she can go home! She also has 3 litters due in January! So, she is going to be very busy indeed! But, has people helping her out. Her husband also knows my dad. They used to work together. I am just so happy and hope the mama has a smooth delivery. And the pups are born healthy! I get to see the yorkie parents tomorrow afternoon. It won't be long before I finally get to lay my eyes on Chloe Cheyenne!

I think that is wonderful you are going to get to be with you little one as soon as it is born. That is just great!

She does not have a website and she did not advertise anywhere. I found out about her from word of mouth. Otherwise I would of never even known that she was breeding dogs. (she only had a poodle when I was in high school) But, it has been 10 years since I graduated. I put an ad on the internet looking for a yorkie on Louisiana classifieds. This lady misread the ad and thought I was the one who had a yorkie for sale. (she was also looking for a yorkie) So, we got to talking and she is the one who gave me this number for this lady. She said that her neighbor bought a puppy from her and she recommeded her. She said her dogs are adorable with baby-doll faces. I guess I will find out soon. I am fixing to head out the door with my mom now.

:( Well, did not get to go see the yorkie mama dog today after all. My mom called her to tell her we were on our way. And the lady said today would not be good afterall. Because she has a man putting down cement at her home. And both of her dogs are fixing to go in labor. One due tomorrow and the other due on Friday. She said both dogs are acting really nervous and agitated. So, she does not want to get the dogs more nervous about being around too many people. I totally understand though. I don't want to do anything to upset the dogs and make them nervous. I just want both dogs to have a smooth delivery and healthy pups. She said that she was going to put the dogs in the paper for deposits as soon as they are born. But, since we found out about her before she put them in the paper, we get first choice of a female. Her prices start at $800 and go on up. I hope we can get one under $1000 because my mom by no means wanted to even pay $800. But, I bugged her so much about it that she gave in way over her limit. I told her I would work 2 jobs if I have to. And help her with the cost. We will give this lady a deposit as soon as the pups are born. To make sure my dog is not sold to anyone else. This lady seems to be a really great breeder. My mom talked to her over a half hour on the phone. And she says she will NOT let any of her puppies leave until they are in tip top shape. And make sure that all of her pups will go to a loving home. These dogs are raised in her home and not a kennel. They are part of her family. Her babies. She seems to have a lot of love and devotion to her dogs. (She has yorkies as well as Maltese.) I am glad to find someone who is really decitated to their dogs and not in it just for the money.
