Hi. I am new to the forum. I have a yorkie, Penelope, she will be one year old next month. I have had her groomed twice but I am now letting her hair grow out. Obviously the hair falls in her eyes. She lets me brush her just fine. The problem I have is when I attempt to put a bow in her hair. I will be brushing her but when she feels me beginning to gather the hair for the bow, she twists and wiggles and does not let me get the bow in. Any tips on how I should be holding her so she can not wiggle her way out?

Hi ~ I fink Penelope will be just fine with a little age and more grooming. I did not like grooming until I was a bit older. Now, I LOVES it, and when I see the brush, I run to mommy!

Time and Patience (and maybe a treat ;) ) are your friends!

Dear Abigail,

Sometimes I gets a bit of poo stuck to my bum and I get really really embarrassed :blush:

My Mom wants to try to help but I don't see how her lifting my tail and giving me a water enema with the shower do~hicky is for anything but her own amusement.

Abigail, is my Mom really helping me or is she just playing me for a fool:confused::rolleyes:

I know it iz embarassin' :embarasse; but(t) ;) a good thing our peoples care about our hygiene - and der's! I fink we just hab to endure!

Dear Abigail,

Bogie here and I have a very big problem. My mom punished me for whining when she does my sister Jada's braid..you well never guess what she did. She had the gall to PUT A BRAID IN MY HAIR!! Then she did the ultimate humiliating thing she posted pics of it all over YT!!http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...miliation.html
I am a guy, not a girl with pigtails or braids. She thinks I look cute and she even put it back in tonight. I also read her text to Sugars Momma and she called me METROSEXUAL:eek: please tell me what that means. Is she making fun of me or what?

ps...I will share a Texas Toothpic with ya if you will advise me on how I can get her to take this silly braid out of my hair.

I know that when I read Mommy's texts (shhhhh! She doesn't know I can read or type!) I saw that metrosexual word and pushed the google button. I think it means that his Mommy thinks he's a pretty boy :D:eek:
