| update on Joel Joels doing good, his earmites are going away with his medicine. Its been about a month we've been in the hotel and it's ruining all the training iv'e done with Joel, at home he was completly potty trained but its way harder to take him out at the hotel. He atleast learned to potty in the bathroom, lol. He's doing good not barking but hes learning to get what he wants more because I cant let him bark alot here, but he's bieng a good boy. And my baby Rosco (the akita)is getting old, he's at the down hill point He's always laying down and sleeping, and his back leg is hurt from a torn ligament, and some arthritis and his tail doesnt curl up anymore and he just plain doesnt have that happy look in his eyes that he used to. He went to the vets today because we noticed these red sore looking spots on his back legs and the vet said he has water retention and the red sores are from relieving the pressure, so he has pills for it, but im still sad because hes getting older and I know "that time" is coming up. But soon I'll show new pics of Joel,he's getting big! And Rosco too |

| It's nice to hear he is getting spoiled rotten! I hope his ears feel better now. I was very sorry to read that your Akita isn't doing well, but I definitely agree about the cosequin. It does wonders for those old joints. I hope the water retention is relieved by the pills he gave you and things go much better. Be prepared for more trips to potty. Take care!

| Thanks everyone, im getting the cosequin today for Rosco, and the red spots on his legs are already going away so the water retention must be going down. And Joel is finaly listening to me now because I put him in another room for "time out" so he listens to everything now, lol. But his new bad habit is when we go out for a walk he likes eating moose poo! The shape of it fits perfect in his mouth so I dont even notice him walking around with it. Its sooooo gross, no matter how much you watch him he'll get it without me seeing. Gag! Gag! Lol Last edited by ilovejoel; 03-24-2012 at 05:55 PM. |
