| itchy ears, and privates (sorry) and weight. Well now mrs. Paislee "Cocoa" Has really got me confused. She has been out on walks like two to three times now because she still hasnt gotten her last set of shots until she is 16 weeks. I was also cautious because I didnt want her to get fleas because they said not to treat her with her flea/worm regimen until she was three pounds. So I noticed her scratching a little so yesterday I took her by vets and she was exactly three pounds so they started her on Advantix multi. Well today she isnt scratching like before but she keeps rubbing her head on the floor and taking her paw and scratching herears . Another thing she does is she keeps licking her privates but its not an after she pees lick its a jerk then lick. She had a fecal exam a month ago and found nothing the advantix multi takes care of all worms but tape and i see no ricce or anything. Also at three pounds now read carefully, I dont care if she is 800 pounds i would think the world of her but im not allowed to have dogs over ten pounds and just found that out. At 14.5 weeks does three pounds mean she will be huge. Im just wondering because Im not getting rid of my baby.

| Could be her anal glands are bothering her. Any rash or redness at all? Has she been checked for ear mites? I know it says you can kind of figure how much your dog should weigh as an adult by doubling the weight they are at 13 weeks. Don't know how accurate that is but it is a starting point. Are there ticks in your area. We are in a high tick area but I keep Gracie out of the tall grass where they hang out so I don't treat her with Advantix. I just use the Advantage II. I hate using that but have found it is the best way to keep her flea free. I hate using chemicals on her but usually do it for only half the year. |

| trim It does help...I have not trimmed the area. I plan on taking her for her first groom visit towards the end of april after she finished up her last set of shots, Maybe that will help. She is definitly teething.

| There are ticks but now as bad where I am. I am not sure on the glands because it is the pee parts. However one other issue is she must be eating hair. When she has a BM alot of times it will just hang because there is hair in it that wont come out. It is human hair so either mine or daughters. Your puppies are adorable. Paislee cocoa came a centimeter of being named Gracee

| Sounds like mites I believe Advantage Multi kills them, as does Revolution. Face itching could be teeth or a food allergy. Chicken is the #1 allergen in Yorkies. Or she may be cleaning her face... mine do it right after they eat. Same with her privates... trimming some of the hair would help her to keep herself clean.... or a Urinary Tract Infection may be starting... any increased amounts of urination?

| She may have mites on her body... is she scratching the outsides of her ear? There and the privates and chest is usually mites. If she's trying to get to the inside of the ear, she may have an ear infection. The ear flap should be white-light pink, not dark pink or red.
