| LOLA & Tucker sittin' in a tree... K.I.S.S.I.N.G! My dogs LOVE each other so much. They are best friends. Tucker we got when he was 12 weeks old and Lola we got a year later when she was 14 months old. I called the breeder to ask about a new puppy and she said she had an adorable little girl she was hoping she could breed but she is to small. I got her on Christmas EvE. My husband thinks he surprised me but I had already been talking to the breeder for weeks! They have the same father. They are only 3 months apart in age. I would love to get a 3rd Yorkie. My fear is it would ruin this lovely dynamic the two of them already have. They are so close to each other I am not sure they would except a third dog into the mix. I miss my first traditional Yorkie Jazzy and would like to get another one. Has anyone added a third into the mix? What sex did you choose and how did it work out. I want the good the bad and the ugly. |

| Well I just have one, so I have no idea.. My little Peanut likes to be the only one- he was way too many necrotic issues and he likes to control me too much to share me I know some people who have 5-6 yorkies and everything works out fine for them!! Good luck on whatever you choose!! I wish you the best!

| I don't have any experience . . .just wanna subscribe to see what others have to say . . . I've been trying to talk my DH into a rescue, but just when I think I have him, he changes his mind . . .For me, if I was to get a third, I'd get another boy only because Rhianna is a bit of a control freak and rules the roost . . .so I figured getting Brody a brother would sort of help him keep Rhianna in line

| I think it will depend on their personalities...a bunch. I only have 2, and cats, but we do puppysit a Shih Tzu...we call it 'puppy camp'...like last weekend. The 3 of them get along really well and play together, stay up late at night, etc. like kids at a sleep over. Were it to become a permanent arrangement, I think they'd get used to the situation easily enough. Mine will be 2 in March, and the Shih Tzu will be 2 a few months afterward. Don't know if that helps...lol

| Awww, I think Joel would be so sad of I got another one,he is so obsessed with me lol. Whenever I get any pet baby I like getting one and spoil it like crazy, except for the guinea pigs, they ignore me and love eachother to death lol Last edited by ilovejoel; 02-22-2012 at 12:50 PM. |

| I thought Tucker would be upset when we got Lola but he loved her from the moment she got here. I think the only thing that bothered him was that she took his spot on the back of my chair but he adjusted by sitting on my side. The other thing that happened is ALL toys belong to him. She hides them and he goes berserk looking for them...it's a win-win for them both. He is definitely the Alpha dog and she happily excepts that. I think if she decided she wanted to be the Alpha dog there would have been problems. So maybe, the trick is to find a third dog who definitely does not want to be the boss. |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I have no experience either, but I have often dreamed of getting another. Some days I totally want to find Katie Scarlett a brother. I just would love to rescue a Yorkie. But my husband says no. He thinks Katie Scarlett is too much of a 'pampered princess' and that if we brought another in she wouldn't like it. So for now, we will stick with one. But a girl can dream! I mean...what's better than one yorkie....2 yorkes, or more, of course!
