| Do you think the name 'Shasta' is too feminine? Was wondering if 'Shasta' was too feminine for a boy? I like the name, but unsure about for a boy...? |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Personally, if you like the name, go for it. My dog, Trace, is a male....and solely on his looks.....repeatedly gets called....she, her. I think people just associate yorkies as being female. Kinda like...no one thinks of bulldogs as females.

| What if you drop the "S" and make it "Hasta" and then you could end it with something really creative for his registered name....like "Hasta Have His Way" or "Hasta Be On Me". I think it would be cute. |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I like Shasta. It's a mountain, and mountains aren't girlie. And it's not a Spanish word, so ending in A doesn' t make it feminine. But I ALWAYS lose around here when it comes to names. So forget my advice.
