| Finicky Tessa Tessa is my 3 year old yorkie who does well pottying both indoors and out. The only minor irritation I have with her is that she takes her sweet sweet time. I mean, seriously.. how many time does she needs to circle that same spot before she decides to squat? Love her to pieces but she definitely knows how to test her mama's patience. Does anyone deal with this too? Or is Tessa just being a little diva child with me? lol |

Good thing she mostly does it indoors. Tessa takes 2-3 minutes just with a pad, can you imagine her with a big yard?! | ||

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Sorry, we don't have this issue, probably because when Tuffy was little he was on the semi truck with dh & I so there were times we had limited amounts of dawdle time. We'd tell him Pee Tuffy & when he did we'd praise like crazy just like they tell you to do when potty training. Well, to this day, I can take him outside, put him down & say Pee & he will. Good luck with finicky Tessa!

| That's funny. I have been watching Princess Sophie when she pottys and when she pees, she just sniffs a bit and does her thing. When she has to do the other thing...she circles, circles, and circles till she's ready to squat. I have been wondering if mine was the only one. Glad to know she's not got a screw loose. LOL

YT 2000 Club Member | Yup, Teeka takes foreeeever to go! Since I brought her home she had to sniff the yard until she is ready to go. It gets very annoying when I need her to do her job quickly. I tried to get her to go by vocally telling her to "potty" and she just ignores me and follows her nose! I guess our yard have too many smells for her to investegate! Good Luck!

| Tessa 'til this day is finicky, from what she eats to how she potties. It's frustrating and her dad now has to deal with it. I timed her once and she had circled for 5 minutes and not go. Is my kid psycho?! But we expect that from dear Tessa, which sets her apart from her sister who potties instantly on command. |

| thankfully Lola is quick, but I think that is for a few reasons, first she has always been on a leash and she does not get a lot of room to circle. I am a mean potty mom and keep telling her to go and don't let her roam to much. She also gets a treat or her toy back after potty so she is anxious for that so she is often in a big hurry. When Lola goes out I stand just inside the door with the tie out cord on the outside and I can see her. She usually does her her poop on the second time out mid morning. She often runs back up to the door right afterwards, but knowing she can almost always pee if she wants to I tell her go pee Lola, go pee, go pee, it's almost like she gives in and runs back down the steps and squats real quick and then is ready to come right back in. I am very lucky because I would be so impatient standing there for a long time. Does Tessa get a treat after pottying outside and do you take her on a leash.

| Tessa potties on the Ugodog indoors and does yard work in the front and back of our house with no leash. Apparently she's not fond of grass, thinks it feels funny on her feet from the way she walks on it. That girl is so strange. |

| LOL they are all strange, Lola is the opposite, she will only go on grass, which is great if you can find it, but sometimes grass is not always available, like in NYC or at airports, lucky for her she can hold it for a long time,
