| So very frustrated.... On our way home from walking today Lilo and I saw a tiny chihuahua running around with no leash and no collar. We were in the car driving away from the park when we saw this little tan chihuahua running towards a man who had another chihuahua on a leash. He stopped to let it smell his dog and just continued walking away. We thought it was his but then We saw the poor thing run down the street towards another man with two larger dogs. We turned the corner and parked and ran towards when we last saw him. We couldn't find him anywhere. We were hoping the man picked him up. The dog looked taken care of from afar and was a bit pudgy looking despite looking very small. The park we were at had a small and big dog park so we thought maybe it escaped. We drove around and walked, checking under cars for it and had chicken jerky in our hands. I hope someone picked it up because tonight is freezing and that little thing might be stuck out there in that weather with no food. He seemed friendly just walking up to people so I'm hoping he didn't just decide to bolt. I posted on Craigslist that we saw it but there isn't much else I can do is there? |

| Oh it makes me so mad I could scream when I see dogs running around without collars. Stupid, stupid people. I pray that little one is ok.

| I couldnt imagine just leaving a dog on the street. Just like you tried to do I would have picked him up and taken him home. I have "rescued" many a lost dog. I dont understand how someone could own a dog and then just leave another one on the street simply because its not theirs. It is so awful to wonder if the poor little guy is out there tonight. Thanks for trying to find him, it sounds like you made quite the effort. |
