| Someone may correct me, but I would say right away, as long as your puppy has had all of the puppy shots. The earlier you start to socialize, the better.

| Jackson was 9 weeks old when introduced to my moms 4 year old cockapoo, Carmen, and my dads 2 year old JRT mix. I lived with my mom so he had to be around Carmen and we spent an equal amount of time at my dads house. So he was around them from the time he came home! I think it's fine so long as the other dog has it's shots/etc. I wouldn't do dog parks and pet stores for a few weeks after shots though. But I've always allowed pups (family dogs, etc) to go outside in our yard right away.

| I walked in the house and put the puppy right away with Chichi. He is such a good dog I knew he'd be fine.

YT 1000 Club Member | I had My Female Becca out to PetSmart when she was only 3 months old. I kept her in a Shopping Cart until she had all her shots, then down on a Harness/Leash. I think getting them out to at least "see" things as I did, or carry them in your arm, just anything to get the socialization process started ASAP. I didn't do that with My Male Sneakers, and there is a VAST difference in how they meet and greet others...people included. Becca..friendly, Sneakers...not at all !

| I agree, the sooner the better! Take lots of pics, that puppy stage doesn't last long!

| If you know the dog and they are up to date on shots, right away is best. I would wait to go to any public doggie parks or petsmart until your baby has had her puppy shots. |

| I would introduce your new pup to other dogs for socialization quickly but only if the other dogs re fully vaccinated until your baby is vaccinated.
