| It probably depends on where you live, how cold it gets, what temp. you have your thermostat set at and how well insulated your home is. My Michigan, 1950's built, plaster walls, no insulation in the walls house gets pretty cold & drafty, so sweaters are need for all living things here. ZoE has specific sweaters that she wears inside while I'm gone & the thermostat on the heating is turned way down. These sweaters are a tighter fit than the others that she wears over her harness when we go out, and they do not have parts that come down on the legs. I'd noticed that she would sometimes get her paws/nails caught up in the other sweaters and I don't want to risk her falling or landing awkardly because of that and injurying herself. So, I specifically knitted tighter sweaters with just small leg holes, that don't cause these problems.

| I usually only put sweaters on Lola when we are going outside, they don't bother her but she doesn't seem to be cold (never shivering/shaking inside) And at night she sleeps in the bathroom now and loves it! It has a nice big vent and its always warm in there! The only thing we have on her in the house occasionally is her dresses, but that is usually when company is over, we normally let her run around fancy free and naked...lol!

| Belle has a sweater to go outside. She doesn't wear it for more than a half hour inside for now. When it gets colder, she'll wear a jacket to go out. I think that clothes are cute for special occasions and photo ops, but honestly, she seems much more comfortable if she's not wearing anything. I'm not one for dressing my dogs much, but I do think other people's dogs look adorable all dressed up.

| Although I am a doggie clothes collector, my guys only wear them for "dress up" and as needed for warmth. When they are chilly, they usually snuggle under the bed covers. |

| Callie wears clothes almost 24/7 except when she is going to be outside for a while in the summer. She seems to get cold pretty easy.

| Gizmo is a 24/7 sweater wearer. My house gets really drafty, and Gizmo gets chilly.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | We put Katie Scarlett's sweater on her in the morning and she wears it in and out of the house until her grooming at night. We want to keep her in jammies for nighttime, as it is drafty in our house, but the first pair I ordered are a little big. I've got to get a smaller pair until she grows into them. But it get really cold her in PA during the winter. In the summertime, I want to keep her in light dresses, shirts, and light pj's...just to keep her used to wearing clothes. I don't worry as much about her getting cold when she is in her sweater.
