| Growing out hair.... Ok, so I am debating yet again..lol..about wether I want to keep Foxy's hair nice, neat and short or go with a longer look since colder weather is here already! Any tips for growing her hair out? Shes 5, will her age have anything to do with it? Thanks!

| It has been my experience that winters were easier when their hair is shorter... keeping long hair from matting under a sweater can be a full-time job. But, it would take time for it to grow out, so I'd keep it well conditioned .

| If you have never grown her hair out it is fun to do one time at least and see if you like it. The winter is a great time to just let it grow out too. It will probably take a couple of years to get some substantial length.

| It is fun to have it grow out and they look so pretty. It is really easy, if they have a good silky coat. I also wrap their coats to protect it and also it is better, so liess stactic in winter. Good luck! |

| Her hair was in horrible shape when I first got her because of her previous home. But with good nutrition and TONS of love its better, I wouldnt say its exactly silky, but its definitely better than it was. The only thing that bugs me is those little pieces of hair in her eyes, I always get the urge to cut them....

I think winter is great time to grow out hair because you can employ the use of sweaters & hoodies if she's looking a little shaggy and no ones the wiser Just comb morning & night to be sure you keep tangles from becoming matts.
