| Tropi-Clean I am wondering if anyone has heard of, or uses, Tropi-clean on their dog's teeth for tartar control? The pet store near me sells it, and the reviews look quite promising. My concern is if it is safe on their kidneys, etc. Does anyone use something different with success? Sadie is due for her annual teeth cleaning next week, and I am very nervous about the anesthesia part of it. She does get her teeth cleaned every year, is nine years old, and her teeth are in great shape. It is just that I hear horror stories about the procedure, and if I could get her in once every two years, that would be great. The age is also a concern to me. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks. Kate

| Abigail, my large terrier mix, 50 lbs, who lived to be 17, had great teeth, never lost one. As she grew older, the Vet did pre-op blood work to make sure everything was OK the morning of the dental and we never had any problems. You might ask your Vet about it if it hasn't already been suggested. Good luck but I'm sure she will be fine.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I just saw an ad for it in the new Dog Fancy magazine and wondered if it was good. Pixie has terrible teeth and I would like to try it if anyone has good reviews on it.
