| Certain People for Certain Things Gizmo has set people that he does different things with. And if you try to switch it up, he's not happy. Like tonight, even though he's sick, he woke up and I could tell he wanted to play. Well, I tried to just move his baby around to try to get him going at little bit. And he just kind of looked at me. So, my husband was in the bathroom and Gizmo was literally leaning off the sofa looking for him and as soon as he came out, Gizmo ran down the steps, grabbed the baby I was trying to get him to play and taunts with it at my husband. But in situations like when Gizzy is scared or sick like this weekend, the only person he wants to be with it me. It's funny because I know this behavior is similar to that or a child. Mom is business, Dad is fun. Anyone elses fur butts do this?

| Levi acts pretty consistently across different "groups" of people. He is incredibly charming to strangers. He wags his tail, asks to be petted, and is on his very best behavior for the most part. To people he knows well, like my friends and family, he will hop in their laps, love on them, and ask to play. He likes to show off, and will bring toy after toy for them to look at. There are certain things he'll only do around me. He is definitely a mama's boy and knows that I am his caregiver. When he wants to "hide," he stands between my feet. He frantically licks my face when he's hungry and gives a special potty whine when he needs to go outside. He doesn't communicate with other people like this.

| Max and Teddy have their rituals with me, and rituals with grandpa, and rituals with other people. They also have preferences. Max prefers to walk with me because I go fast and Teddy prefers to walk with grandpa because he gets more sniffing time. Both of the boys come to me with problems, like hair in the eye or if they are not feeling well. They look to me first for food, but if I say it is not time for a meal, Max will try pleading with grandpa.

| LOL - oh yeah. He knows EXACTLY who to go to for certain things. My dad is known as the 'food man' because, in the past, he was always the one giving out the food. Dogs ONLY beg from him and he wonders why. My step-dad is who he feels safest with for some reason. He follows him around during storms, etc. Ummm... my little sister, he knows she is always willing to play with him, so he goes to her when he's playful. Yeah, he knows what he's doing LOL.

| It is the same at our house. Daddy is the fun one. Mama gives baths, medication, brushes hair, wipes butts and comforts booboos.

| YUUUP! Harley knows I'm boss. Daddy on the other hand is a pushover. He loves to play "soccer": he puts one toy in his mouth, then bats a ball around on the floor. well we have a cushion next to our bed, which is beside the computer, and Harley knows that if he puts the ball at Daddy's feet, and sits on this cushion staring at him, eventually Daddy will stop work and play with him. He knows I wont fall for the puppy eyes... He however will not walk on a leash properly for Daddy, cause Daddy doesn't have a clue how to make him heel. Me he walks wonderfully. I guess I'm the big bad trainer, who happens to let him cuddle under the covers when I'm napping :P Daddy is much more fun.
