Thor is obsessed with getting into my lap. We'll be sitting on the couch, or at my desk working for hours at a time. If I shift positions at all, or move obstacles that prevent him from lap access (say, my notebook or mouse), he immediately launches another foray into my lap. It doesn't matter how close he is. He can be sitting right next to me, but unless he's in my lap, he's not satisfied. Right now he's on my work table on a wonderfully comfy blanket. And all he can do is stare at me reproachfully because he's 26" from his perfect location.

It's just sweet that he always wants to be close to me.

Max can't sleep if he can't feel me, he has to be right under when he sleeps!!

Belle needs to be near me all of the time. She follows me from room to room. Sometimes, I don't notice her and close the door behind me when I leave a room and then she scratches at the door like a mad woman trying to get out.... when I realize that she's stuck and let her out she's so excited and happy - you'd think that she hadn't seen me in days! She definitely makes me feels loved

She also is very funny at bedtime. She crawls under the covers to the foot of my bed and digs at the sheets for a while. Then she crawls back up to the head of the bed, gives me some little kisses and snuggles next to me for the night.

Yogi has to be touching someone when he's chewing on a toy. If DH or I aren't available, he'll lay next to one of the other kids. If they won't let him touch them then he'll look for a pair of our shoes to lay on. He also will come and stand in front of me and sneeze to be let out to potty. He's the only one who sneezes for this. The other 3 will bark or whine, but Yogi will sneeze his poor head off before he'd ever bark at me for this.

If I'm sitting on the couch, Gracie Ruth insists that my arm be on the couch arm so that she can curl up in my arm pit. It's her perferred place to sleep at night too. But I can only sleep on my back for so long and then I have to roll over onto my side. She'll "allow" me to sleep like that for a little while and then she'll gently paw at me until I roll back over so that she can regain her favorite spot.

Bonnie has to stand between my legs while I fix her meals. She'll dance from one foot to the other softly whining until it's ready then she'll do a little shuffle like dance backwards to the spot where she eats. Never taking her eye off of the bowl until I put it down.

Boo has to sleep under the covers by my feet, with his bum pressed against my leg or feet. He gets quite put out if one of the other kids tries to lay there and will grump at them until they move over.

Brandi insist on me picking her up to put her on the bed at bedtime. Mind you she has little stairs and she is quite capable of jumping in the bed on her own. But she demands that I pick her whenever I'm in the room. She also does this in the middle of the night when she goes to her potty pad. She comes back and does this little wack - o - mole (you know the jumping up and down where all you see is her little head) thing until I wake up and put her back in bed. She can get in the bed herself plus she has the stairs that she uses to climb in and out of bed when I am not there.


And if I don't she starts growling and assumes the position where her little butt is in the air and her front is crouched down. She really hates it if me and the cat are in the bed and she's not. Oh boy....she really
lets me have it. Does she have me trained or what?

When waking up, Kaji is playful sometimes. If you scratch his back or rear, he'll start rubbing his whole body on the couch or bed. If I rub long enough, he takes his front paws and rubs his eyes. It's so cute! He rubs his eyes, rolls over and goes back to sleep.

Max gives me a kiss on the hand when I put his food bowl down, and he stays right at my side after meals, walks, or anything good. I think it is his way of showing appreciation or celebrating the things he loves.

Once he is done with me, then he takes his stuffed doggy for a walk around the house and puts him to bed.

Teddy's cute thing is that he spins to say "yes" or to show excitement. That, and he has to have hugs and kisses from both his people: starts with dad, then he comes straight to me, or vice versa.

Ziggy will be fast asleep, but let him smell anything food like or hear the crinckling of a sweet wrapper or crisps pack, he is up like a rocket!lol.. its so funny! The other thing he does is, he'll look at me if someone doesnt give him what he wants or wont do what he wants as of to say: "mommy, tell him to give it to me"

One thing I love that Princess does is when she's all excited she'll be on my lap & she will give me the fastest kiss in the world. When she's in a licking mode I usually let her lick my chin so I think she thinks this is the only way to kiss me on the lips, lol.

I think it's funny that when the phone rings she runs for it like she's telling me to get it.

She spends time with me in bed while I just lay or read, set the alarm, etc. but once I turn the lamp off she leaves immediately. Yet every morning I wake up to her by my side, & we must always be touching.

I even think it's cute when she's naughty. Unless it involves pottying I think it's all cute. She can almost always find a piece of paper or a tissue & she'll bring it right in front of me & stare at me waiting for me to correct her. Never knew anyone, human or fur, that wanted to get caught! If I'm not paying attn. to her if she asks for a treat, etc. she will run to her water & dig it up angrily then look back at me. She's clever, I get up right away to see what in the heck she wants!
