| Does your yorkie have a ridge on its snout? When I run my finger down the bridge of Uni's nose there is a little indentation or ridge there. It has always been there. Katie has one too, and she has the "teddy bear" face, very short snout. Uni's snout is a bit longer. But not all yorkies I've met have this. Why is it there? It's weird but I like to feel it from time to time.

| Tibbe's got it. Don't know if that is just the end of the bone and the beginning of cartilage or what. Do you all?

| The funny thing is, I have met a few who don't have this. More so than do! I thought Uni was weird and that Katie just coincidentally had it also. Another foster I had years ago, Chuy, he had the last bone on the rib cage (sternum?) that jutted out a LOT, like scary out. I thought he was a freak that had that weird bone, but I feel it on other dogs also, just some jut out more than others.

| Yep, feels like where bone meets cartilage. I called him over felt his nose he stared at me for a second and shook his head & walked away! Elvis has a "teddy bear" face too. Just before his nose (it's all black so hard to tell) he has super thin hair and an almost bald circle. Vet said it's just how he is, I thought when I first got him it looked like his hair had been rubbed off and until later vet thought it would fill in with grooming & checked for skin issue with a 'scraping' but it never grew in. EDIT: LOL Thor!
