| first grooming Well yesterday I took my baby Chloe for her first grooming. I had already given her a bath so all I wanted was her hair trimmed and nails done. I had been working with her and combing and brushing each day. I recently bought an electric shaver to cut the hair in her feet between her pads. Also to trim her bum. I wanted her to be used to the razor. I took her to Petco. I knew the girl there because I used to work with her. She is the salon manager. What a nightmare! She started with her nails, which went fine. Then she started with the razor and oh my she started to wine and cry, because she had mats on her legs. But the worst was her ears, she had to pull the hair out of her ears because they can get infected if the hair is left in. Chloe screamed all the while, I thought my daughter and granddaughter was going to have a heart attack. It was all pretty awful. She threw up on the way home. She was okay and back to her old self last night. She is 4 mos. old and weighs 3.4 lbs. Is it always like this. I am going to have to learn to do it myself rather than have her go through that again. Any advice and similar experiences. Thanks Sally |

| If the groomer wasn't rough with her then more then likely she will act the same way when you do it at home. If this was her first grooming she probably is just not used to it.
