| Puppy cries at bedtime Our new puppy has starting crying at bedtime. She sleeps in the bed, so she's not alone. She did fine for a few nights, but not now. I wonder, is she just not sleepy? |

YorkieTalk Newbie! | Maybe she is scared of your bed if it is high. Try to put a stuffed animal beside her that way she thinks it might be her mother. Or you could try treats to give her when she gets in the bed when you say bedtime. Just some thoughts |

| It will take a while for her to adjust to her new surroundings. She could be hungry or needs to go potty. Make sure you are very careful since she is so little that she doesn't get hurt by someone rolling over on her.

| Could be a few things, she has to potty or she is hungry or just isn't wore out enough before bedtime...or she could just be missing her Mommy and littermates...and thinks that if she crys, mom will come running to her ...she will adjust...just give her sometime and LOTS of love and attention...and you will become her new forever Mommy.

| My baby cried only the first night. She now sleeps in her crate next to my bed where I think she feels more secure. She cries twice in the night just to come out and potty and she goes right back in. Maybe try her own bed next to yours?
