| Hawk.... EEEKKK!! So my bf & I were in our pool today and the boys were outside. I heard birds chirping all day and didn't think anything of it. Well my bf noticed a big bird soaring overhead and pointed up. We both looked and said at the same time "Is that a hawk?" and then we heard the cries from it, and saw it circling and getting lower with each circle. Grabbed the boys (the dogs) and brought them inside super quick and as we got them in, it swooped down lower and we didn't see it but heard it very close, BF even ducked! The boys were safe inside and it stuck around circling for a couple hours. I REALLY think it targetted my boys! uuuggghhhh I wonder if that is what got to my bunny 3 weeks ago also now? YIKES!!!!

| How scary! It's a great thing that you saw it before it flew down and tried to get your boys...

| We have hawks also and about 3 months ago there was a coyote standing by my garage at 5 in the morning. I never, never leave mine outside, even on the deck without me. If my dogs are in the yard they are always on a leash. I am so glad you were with them.

| You must have been scared to death! We have them here too. I never leave my girls outside alone and if I spot one hanging around I stay right by them. However, you never know what they will do! I wonder if load noises would scare it? I am just not sure about them. BTW, yes I think it is very possible it was the one who took the bunny! So glad everyone is safe!

| That must have been so terrifying for you. I'm so sorry that you you need to worry about your boys' safety like that and also that you lost your bunny so tragically. I'm so glad that you thought so quickly and were able to protect your boys. |

| My breeder told me to be careful of hawks because they look at york pups like they are rabbits and will take them like prey. If I get an outside kennel that I should put a net overtop of it. Soo glad you were right there and able to get your boys to safety!! |

| I would have been freaked! I was on the phone with my Dad the other day and a Hawk swooped down right in front of him and got a Squirrel. I never let Riley out in their backyard by himself. |

| We have hawks too . . .I'm also always outside with my two . . .as soon as I hear one, both my babies are ushered inside . . .We even practiced "hawk" drills . . .lol I will say "hawk, hawk" and Brody lays down and rolls over . . . Don't know how that will work in an actual hawk swooping . . .but that's what he does . . . Rhianna on the other hand ignores the drill and walks away . . .

YT Addict | I am afraid of that as well. My husband seems to think that if we are out there with them they will be alright. I don't know if that is true or not. My babies love the yard but I am always afraid to take them out. |
