| How do I stop shopping for my baby? I didn't realize I would want to buy everything adorable for Ahi. Does this madness start to fade? Will it ever end? Will she end up with Kajillion clothes like my human kids? lol I just had to show this dress! Now I want it. lol

| If you are a donating member you should try participating in the Gift exchange.. then you can shop for someone else and get something in return for your baby! |

| She doesn't have enough posts to participate this time, and she would have had to sign up to yorkie talk before june.

| I agree!! You won't be able to participate in this GE, but the next one you should be able to have enough posts. You get to buy lots of cute things for another pup and then you get a package in return. Shopping is a LOT of fun!

| I don't think we ever get over it. It's worse when you have an enabled friend. Kaji and Missy now have matching bathrobes.

That gift exchange sounds great! Will be looking forward to the next one. I did a gift exchange with my babycenter.com forum when I was pregnant with my 2nd DD. It was so fun! I'm guessing this one will be just as fun too.

| We are participating in our first GE and I can already tell, it is going to be fun..as for shopping for your baby. I have had Jada for almost 3 years and I am worse now than I was when we first got her

| Its hard to stop shopping for them! LOL! Some things I do to help are: 1. I clean their dresser out every season and sell the items we no longer use or that no longer fit- this money goes towards new stuff. 2. I self impose a 2 week period each month where I can't purchase anything for the dogs that is not necessary (literally necessary like food, medicine, etc.) This forces me to wait on things and gives me time to decide if I really need it or its just an impulse. Obviously, I still buy some things on impulse but it has helped me to cut down. 3. I have tried to be better about not buying things they can't wear more then once- like fancy dresses- Chloe refuses to keep them on, so she only gets one a year on her birthday now, we use it for photos and that is it. These things have helped me to cut down on their "luxuries bill" but I still spend a ton! LOL! Shopping for them is fun, but even more fun is watching them with their new toys having a blast, or all curled up in their new bed- I just love seeing them happy.

| It is veeeery addicting!! I have actually stopped shopping for clothing for Riley the past few months, but only because it has been soooo HOT here, in DC. But, as soon as Fall arrives, I know I will be back on it. I got him in July, last year and he probably had 4 - 5 jackets by years end. |
