| Has anyone else quit walking in this heat? Ringo is about to go crazy; we are on Day 2 without a walk. But it's almost 96 degrees - still - and 90% humidity. I'm a little worried about walking them in this heat. Anyone else? Or am I just paranoid?

| If I can't get outside to walk before 7 am, the dogs use their potty pads. They will go out for a few minutes but run back inside. They are all potty pad trained also, the girls prefer indoors.

| Same here- I am in Ontario Canada- right now it is 9 pm and we are still at 80 degrees, 90 with the humidity. I was getting up at 6:30 to walk Layla but even then it is too hot. I am hating this- Layla needs her daily walks and it hasn't happpened in about a week. |

| Since it's been 95-100 degrees here, we don't walk until after dark. If we don't walk, we go to the park and sit under a shade tree. There's a couple of lakes so it's a bit cooler there. It's 85 degrees at 6:00AM, it's nothing but hot here!

| If i didn't walk because it is 90 out we would not walk all summer What is getting me is the Mosquito I can't take it. If I try to walk early or late to beat the heat I get eaten alive! I feel like I did when I was a kid and count all the bites... I am up to over 100...not a joke!! My dh has been walking the pack, he doesn't seam to get bitten as much as I do. Yesterday I must have had 50 mosquitoes on my feet. ugh!!!! I can just imagine how I looked.. hopping-- slapping at the dam things

| Yes, no walks here until it gets cooler. Mid-90's and high humidity. They would go for a walk regardless, so we have to sometimes do the thinking for them. |

| Haven't been walking here, as it's usually too hot even by 6:30 in the morning. It's awful...hottest summer I remember in Texas for over 10 years, and more humid, too. At least we're not in Oklahoma where my daughter is; it's getting to 105 and over there! I think Zoe's mad about no walks.

| We went out early this morning, but we did not have an evening walk. Wasn't going to risk the boys getting overheated. They are going nuts.

| We've basically been not walking. It's just TOO hot. Jackson hates the heat anyways. I am a dogwalker so I still have to go and let all the dogs out, but we generally do a quick 5-10 minute leg stretch and potty break. I bring Jackson with me so he gets SOME form of exercise and mental stimulation but other than that, we've been doing a lot of indoor playing and I get him to my dads house once or twice a week to get in some swimming.

| No. We don't walk much anyway. I'd like to start walking Rylee, but it is just way too hot. His paw pads would suffer for it and he has so much hair. No way.

| No walks here... but increased playing fetch to wear their butts out! Tink insists on going out, but comes right back in before i can close the door, lol. I'm wore out, she wants out every two minutes... just to look around and see what's going on.

| No walks or anything here. I don't even take Princess out at all if I can help it. Just a five minutes outside & she's panting like crazy. She uses pads, though I'd like to just let her get some fresh air but it's just crazy here. They're saying 98 for Thursday!

| I've tried walking right before dark, but it is still so hot the doggies will hardly walk back. One will plop down on the grass and refuse to budge, the other just walks so slowly and stops a lot that we never get anywhere! Luckily mine are lazy anyway and have to be woken up for walks. |
