Just wanted to share how proud I am of my little man Bentley. He is going for his CGC test July 20th. Today we went to practice at Petsmart so there would be plenty of distractions. He has mastered everything perfectly except how shy he can be with strangers. So we need to work on that. I'm just going to get him around as many different kinds of people as possible. I'm just so proud of how well he is doing. In the begginner class he was a different dog than he is now in his advanced class. I love to show off when we practice. He is such a smart boy. His heel still needs a little perfecting but it looks great too. I'm just so so proud.
I love so much when people are surprised when I have him sit at the end of an aisle and stay while I walk to the other end. When I release him and he comes to me people that didn't see him expect a big dog. Its nice to be able to help others see that little ones are just as smart as the bigger guys and just as loyal. In situations where he doesn't know what to do (dogs barking and jumping around) I'm amazed that he looks up at me as if asking what he should do. I love this breed so much more than I ever expected. I know it isn't just him. The breed is so smart and so loyal. They are amazing. No wonder so many on YT have more than one. They're like potato chips. You can't just have one. Haha! I am just so lucky to have him in my life.
